Mitsubishi Trucks 1988 thru 1998 used the Jatco JR403 automatic 4 speed transmission. 1999 and up used the Aisin 450-43LE transmission which is a 4 speed automatic. In 2004 they also started using the Aisin AS68RC automatic transmission which is a six speed automatic transmission. Please be sure of what year your truck is and what model transmission you have as well after 2004 model years for proper diagnostics.

Both the Jatco JR403E and Aisin 450-43LE transmissions use Dexron ATF oil.

The required fluid for the Aisin AS68RC transmission is Exxon JWS3309, or Mobil ATF-3309. Dodge sells as AS68RC fluid. do not use Dexron or Mercon fluids or any other kind of fluid in this transmission or damage will result.
